Tutoring Agreement
Please read and sign this before your first session. It takes two minutes, and everyone knows the rules from the start.
ProMed United Tutoring Agreement

1. Who this agreement is between
- This agreement is between ProMed United and the student named below. If the student is under 18, a parent or guardian signs too and agrees to these terms for the student.
- It covers every one-on-one session with a ProMed United tutor or mentor: Tutoring, App Prep, Expert Reviews and Research Mentorship.
2. Being on time
- Join each session on time, ready to work, with any assigned work done.
- If you join late, the session still ends at its scheduled time, and the full scheduled time counts as used.
- If you haven't joined 15 minutes after the start and haven't contacted us, the session is a no-show.
3. 24-hour cancellation
- To cancel or reschedule at no charge, tell us at least 24 hours before the session starts (use the link in your booking confirmation or email support@promedunited.com).
- With less than 24 hours' notice, or for a no-show, the full scheduled length of the session is charged. For example, a 2-hour session cancelled the night before counts as 2 hours.
- If you bought a package of hours, those hours are taken from your package. Otherwise they're billed at the hourly rate of your purchase.
- We may waive the charge for a genuine emergency. That's our choice in each case, not a right.
4. If your tutor is late or has to cancel
- You're never charged for time your tutor misses. If your tutor joins late, you can add the missed minutes to the end of the session (when you both can) or reschedule them.
- If your tutor is more than 15 minutes late, or cancels with less than 24 hours' notice, you can reschedule the whole session at no charge.
- You never lose a session because of a change on our side.
5. Technology
- Sessions are online by video. Problems on your side (connection, device, audio) count as your session time.
- Problems on our side count like a late tutor: that time is never charged to you.
6. Working together
- Tutors teach, guide and give feedback. They don't complete graded assignments, tests or applications for you.
- Treat each other with respect. We may end a session, or the tutoring, if a session becomes disrespectful or unsafe.
7. Payments and refunds
- Payments, refunds and how long hours last follow the Refund Policy at https://www.promedunited.com/refund-policy, including the Good Fit Guarantee for Tutoring packages. This agreement doesn't change them, except for the cancellation rules above.
8. Signing
- Typing your name and checking the box below is your electronic signature. It means the same as signing on paper.
- We email a copy to everyone who signs. If we ever change these terms, we'll ask you to sign the new version before your next session.
