COMLEX Level 1: question 1 of 30
A 24-year-old man comes to the physician because of right upper lumbar pain for 2 days that began when he twisted while lifting a heavy box. He has no fever, radiating pain, or bowel or bladder symptoms. There is no midline tenderness, and lower-extremity neurologic examination is normal. The right paraspinal muscles at L2 are mildly tender. With the patient prone, the right transverse process of L2 is posterior. This asymmetry increases in seated flexion and resolves in the sphinx position. L1 and L3 are symmetric. Seated muscle energy treatment is planned.
Which of the following positions of L2 should the physician establish before the patient's first isometric contraction?
Tools appear only where the real exam has them. Right-click or long-press a choice to cross it out. The timer pauses while the player is off screen.
