About the free questions

Do I need an account?
No. Open a test and start. Your answers, marks and highlights are saved only in this browser, and nothing you answer is sent to ProMed United. Clearing your browser's site data, or switching devices, starts fresh.
Are these real exam questions?
No. Every question is original, written by ProMed United and modeled on the test maker's published format: the same sections, answer formats and option letters. They are practice questions, not official ones.
How are the questions checked?
Each question follows our written rulebook: the test maker's format, one defensible answer, and a source for each fact in its explanation. Dr. Dave reviews every question; while he is still reviewing a set, its page says so.
What do Practice and Timed mode do?
Practice shows the explanation right after you submit each answer. Timed runs one clock for the whole set, at the exam's pace, and saves the explanations for the report at the end.
What is in the report?
Your results by section and by tag, how sure you felt against how you did, your time on each question, answer changes, and every question to review. It is a practice score, not a scaled score or a prediction of your result.
What if I find a mistake?
Use Report a problem under any explanation. We review every report.
