30 original questions, modeled on the official Dental Admission Test (DAT) format and covering Biology, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Perceptual Ability, Reading Comprehension and Quantitative Reasoning. Researchers alter the gene for a digestive enzyme that pancreatic cells normally secrete, deleting only the codons for its N-terminal signal peptide; the start codon and the rest of the reading frame are unchanged. The signal peptide is the enzyme's only sorting signal. The altered gene is expressed in cultured pancreatic cells.
Where will most of the altered enzyme be found?
