How we choose and match tutors.
What happens before a tutor works with a ProMed United student, and how we pair you with the right one. Dr. Dave, DO, MBS, designs every ProMed United program and leads the team of tutors and mentors who teach them.
- Step 1Every tutor applies through our portalTutors create a ProMed United account and submit an application with their credentials and a short bio.
- Step 2They accept our Tutor Confidentiality AgreementIt is part of the application. Student information stays confidential and inside the portal, students write their own work (we do not ghost write), tutors never promise outcomes, and there are rules for working with minors and their families.
- Step 3Our admin approves or declines each applicationUntil a tutor is approved, they see no student information. Approval can be suspended at any time, which removes access right away, and access to student records is logged.
- Step 4You are matched after a short intakeAfter you enroll, a few questions about your goals, exam, and schedule. Then we pair you with a tutor or mentor matched to them.

If it isn't the right fit
On Tutoring packages: Your first paid session with your matched tutor is your Good Fit Consult. If you're not happy after your first paid session for any reason, ask within 7 days of that session for a full refund of that session only, not the package.

Tutors may publish a profile on our site. Each one is written by the tutor, shared only with their permission, and approved by us before it appears.
